April 18th, 2015
The Great Cloth Diaper Change is an international event where an attempt is made to break the world record for the number of cloth nappies changed at one time worldwide. We try to make a bit of a fuss of it and enjoy the community aspect of it too. It usually falls around the same time as real nappy week (in the UK), which brings sales and all sorts of nappy fun.
On April 18th 2015, the Greatest Cloth Diaper Change EVER will take place in the Glen Royal Hotel in Maynooth, Co Kildare. We are delighted to have the support of Kildare County Council for this event - we were awarded funds to host this event specifically, under Local Agenda 21!! There is only one Irish venue this year. This year we're reaching out to those not currently using cloth nappies to try one out for the Great Cloth Diaper Change! We really need the numbers if we are to help break the record! We will have lovely nappies available to borrow from the library on the day.
This year The Great Cloth Diaper Change will be take place at the "Earth Baby Fair" which will also include stalls, a raffle, some very interesting talks and all sorts of fun for families -keep an eye on the facebook page for details as things come together for us.
